Currently, I am working at Union Square Investment Company (USQ) located in San Francisco, CA since April 2005. I left TBS Couriers, Inc. at Oakland, CA after working more than 7 years. I graduated in December 1997 with the Master of Accounting Degree from University of Hawaii! Then, I moved to San Francisco, and started my job hunting. In 1999, I transferred from Oakland to Shady Cove, OR. After working in Oregon for about one year, I transferred back to the Oakland office and work here since. Someone asked me why I chose accounting as the area to study. The reason is simple; accounting is vital to the society. We always need to use accounting, for instance, doing budget, filing taxes, and even balancing your checkbook. As it is so important, the world always need accountants, either in private, public or government entities. There are lot of opportunites for accountants! Inspired by the CPA exam, here is my list why accounting majors should take the CPA exam, and here are the TEN REASONS!
